Stuart Collingwood, Pianist
Stuart Collingwood has been playing Piano as a professional for over 20 years and has worked all over the World with many stars of the entertainment world . Some of the artists he has worked with include:- Bob Monkhouse, Gerard Kenny, Little and Large, Ken Dodd, The Nolans, Peter Grant, Brotherhood of man, Norman Wisdom, Stan Boardman, Chubby Brown, John Miles, Gary Wilmot, Claire Sweeney, Cheryl Tweedy (Cheryl Cole), Brian Johnson (ACDC) and Tim Healy among many others. Also regular engagements as a Musical Director with P&O and on Queen Mary 2. Stuart also from 2004 has worked as a Musical Director for Tony Christie, and has played on many TV shows including Top of the pops, GMTV, CDUK, Queenmania, Best Party songs ever (BBC) Des and Mel and BBC News with the hit single "Is This the Way to Amarillo" , also for the Variety Club of Great Britain at the Grosvenor House London in front of special guest Michael Caine and a performance at The Royal Albert Hall. Also with Tony Christie at many festivals, including T4 in the Park, Guidfest, Rimpellrock in Belgium and the V festival in front of 65,000 people! He has recently recorded albums with John Miles (Music was my first love) called "Big Band John",Jason Issacs album "Fever"( Winner of the Alan Titchmarch "Crooner " contest in March 2010) And Tony Christie amongst many others and appears on Tonys “Live at the V festival DVD”. Stuart now enjoys playing Solo Piano at many Weddings and Occasions across the United Kingdom.

   Stuart is Resident Jazz Piano Tutor at Newcastle University. He is also available for Private tuition in Jazz Piano.

         Restaurant and Corporate Functions and House Parties!
   Stuart has worked as a Pianist in many of the countrys most famous hotels and restaurants including The Dorchester and Grosvenor House in Londons West End, The Belfry, Forest of Arden and Gleneagles and St Andrews in Scotland. Also most of the Norths leading venues like Wynyard Hall, Marriott Gosforth Park (Resident Pianist for 3 years) Royal County Hotel, Durham (Resident Pianist for 6 years)and De Vere Slaley Hall, Hexham where he played as resident Pianist and also booked the Christmas program of entertainment for 5 years, including supplying the Jazz trios and 6 piece Bands for the Hotel.
Stuart has his own Digital Piano and JBL P.A system and can set up easily in a house or Patio for a Birthday Party, Anniversary or Special occasion. Garden parties are also catered for if the weather is fine and the Piano can be set up outside.
 As well as Solo Piano (Stuart also sings), any line up from a Duo with a Female Vocalist or Saxophone player or a Trio with Double Bass and Saxophone to a full Big Band can be booked.
